Taxies form the quickest and earliest mode of transportation. Easily accessible you can hail a taxi from every street of Boston.

In the downtown area, most hotels will hail a taxi for you. There are also taxi stands located near many of the city's popular tourist destinations, including Faneuil Hall, Copley Place, South Station, North Station, and Back Bay Train Station. These taxi stands can be identified by a sign indicating it is a taxi stand and the long line of taxis waiting for a fare. You may also hail a taxi that is traveling on the street, if it is unoccupied.

At the airport you will find, plenty of cabs. They provide a quick and efficient way of transportation from airport to the hotel.

You can also rent a car. Their cab drivers are thoroughly acquainted with the city they serve.
