Courageous Sailing Center

Established in 1987, Courageous Sailing Center was a dream- come- true for Harry McDonough. He wanted to create a sailing center for young aspirants who wanted to master the art of sailing.

The Courageous gives a unique platform for people of all ages whether you are a novice or professional to learn how to sail. It has a variety of sailing programs for all age groups.

Apart for being a dynamic organization, Courageous has hosted the special Olympic summer games and has provided invaluable training to Olympic athletes.

Besides providing expert training Courageous does exemplary social service. It hosts national blind sailing competition. They teach sailing techniques to the blind and visually impaired. It has partnered with Adventure Sail through the Big and Little Sisters organization, an event that has drawn hundreds of women and girls into the sport of sailing.

Hours: Open Tue to Sunday until sunset. We open at:
2pm on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
12pm on Wednesday
10am on Saturday and Sunday
