The team has brought major pride in their hometown Boston, Massachussetts, winning the Major League Baseball, American League and American League Eastern Division. Dating back in 1912, Boston Red Sox made Fernway Park, popularly known as “The Fens" their playtime home.

One of the highlights in the Red Sox time line was during the most talked about trade of Babe Ruth to their rival team the Yankees. It was said to believe that it was the curse for the team which was popularly dubbed then as “Curse of the Bambino". For the fans, never to worry though since the said “curse" has ended in 2004 when the Red Sox won their World Series Championship.
