There's Boston Braves: the famous 1914 championship season in Baseball, also the Boston Celtic: the great Bill Russell who played center and made a mark in the history of NBA. These are just some of the few highlights in the sports history of Boston.

Sports Museum or Home Arenas

There are a lot of arenas built solely in Boston.  There's the Boston Arena formerly known as Matthews Arena.  This is the oldest standing indoor ice hockey arena in the whole wide world.  Second is Boston Garden, famous arena in Boston, Massachusetts which was built in 1928. This arena also hosted the home games for the Boston Bruins as well as the Boston Celtics. It was also used for political rallies where John F. Kennedy's famous speech was held in November of 1960. There's the TD Banknorth Garden which was formerly known as the Fleet Center which was built on top of Boston's North Station. This is the sports arena and home for the NBA's Boston Celtics and NHL's Boston Bruins from 1995 to present and a former home of the Boston Blazers.  Like most arenas, the TD Banknorth Garden hosts other events such as: Figure Skating, Gymnastics, and Wrestling, conventions, graduations and the like.
