Built on the site where Captain Benjamin Edward's home stood, Terramia Ristoante is steeped in rustic charm. Its stucco wall and beamed ceiling evoke a country side feel.

The restaurant bears the stamp of chef and owner Mario Nocera's personality. He has won the hearts of even the most fastidious of diners with his authentic Italian cuisine. Inside the dining room the atmosphere is cozy. Its box like 39 seats remains jam packed. As tables are packed close to each other, it is a tight squeeze.

What draws the crowds is its traditional Italian cuisine. Chef Mario Nocera introduces novelty in all items served. The menu includes such tantalizing fare as grilled marinated octopus (with fresh ceci and fennel salad) or chestnut ravioli (with date mascarpone puree, pork medallions and caramelized onions).

Homemade pasta dishes feature unconventional preparation styles- - ravioli is served open- faced, with scallops, shrimp and zucchini, in a lobster mascarpone sauce.
