Ristorante Toscano brings you a slice of Italy in cultured Florentine tradition to the Beacon Hill community.

This restaurant is the brain child of Vinico Pauli. He was born and brought up in Florence. Passionately fond of food, he has worked in restaurants on either side of the Atlantic. In 1983, Vinico Pauli opened his restaurant— a place which offered good food made from fresh ingredients surrounded by Tuscan décor.

The restaurant has a charm of its own. Its brick walled room, spotless white table cloth, straight back wooden chairs and exquisite wall hangings, a muted color scheme and antique map which adorn its walls, recreate old Florence. Dishes are served in exotic hand painted plates. Chef- owner Vinicio Paoli draws from his experience in the kitchens of his native Italy to serve up satisfying roasted chicken, lamb, pork and veal dishes, with a premium placed on fresh ingredients.
