Blackfin Chop House and Raw Bar is reminiscent of the call of the sea. It is housed in a 1700's sea captain's home. It derives its name from the Blackfin tuna found in Western Atlantic Ocean waters from Brazil to Massachusetts and Chef/Proprietor Anthony Ambrose's 1988 Blackfin fishing boat.

The atmosphere has a nautical charm. Three working fire places give it a warm glow and an old world charm. The tables are hand crafted with mahogany and conjure up images of a boat deck.

Presently owned by Ambrose and his wife Dorene, who have tried their best to recreate the charm of the old place. The building itself has housed many restaurants and they continue its proud legacy.

The eating joint specializes in seafood. In appetizers, the Clams Casino with Vermont Bacon () and the Four Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail with Horseradish Sauce () are divine. It also serves sushi and other assorted platters.
