South Boston Community Health Center

The South Boston Community Health Center is a full service health care facility that has been serving the South Boston Community since 1972.

It operates from two buildings in the heart if the neighborhood. It is a private non profit corporation administered by a community based board of directors. The Health Center is affiliated with the best hospitals in the world, with Boston Medical Center being their primary affiliation. All patients are served without discrimination regardless of their financial status.

The Eye Clinic at the South Boston Community Health Center provides eye care to children and adults of all ages. Regular eye test should be the primary goal of any health conscious person. Eye test can help detect cataracts, glaucoma and retinal disease, as well as diabetes and high- blood pressure.

Its dental department takes care of oral health care for children and adults. Their adult clinic offers a wide range of services from cosmetic work like veneers and bleaching to basic and preventive dental work including cleanings, sealants, fillings, root canals and crowns/bridges.
