Kitty O'Shea's blends balmy Irish charm with the elegance of a French Bistro. It has been hailed by major food critics and named Best Irish pub in Boston 1999 by Boston Magazine and "Gourmet Greatness".
It is housed in a former Board of Trade building in the heart of the financial district. The bar is reminiscent of the Victorian era. Its 200 year old pitch pine floors have been imported from an old church at Belfast. The quaint dining room showcases a priceless collection of antique objects. Beautiful stain glass windows portray scenes from Ireland.
There are two floors. The second floor is reminiscent of a French Bistro. Food is definitely Irish with plenty of tuneful folk music and brogues. This bar attracts a mellower more mature crowd. The scallops and lobster entrée is recommended as are the chicken selections
Kitty O'Shea's offers country- style cuisine from 11.30am to 10.00pm, with Bistro Humbert on the second floor. The bar remains open until 2.00am each day. On Sunday, a special Brunch is served from 10.00am to 4.00pm. A function room is available for private parties. Live traditional music in a friendly atmosphere.
Average cost: USD .
Hours: 11:30a- 2a daily.
