De Corvoda Museum is a haven for sculpture lovers. It is located in idyllic surroundings in the former estate of a rich merchant in the 1850s.
The highlight of the museum is its sculpture terrace, which is the region's first open air gallery for exhibitions by nationally recognized sculptors. It provides a feast for the eyes. Witness the artistic creation of brilliant sculptors as they breathe life into their work. You can see a constantly changing exhibition in a spacious outdoor venue. The three tiered exhibition is spread over 35 acres.
The Sculpture Park is open to the public every day of the year from dawn till dusk and contains approximately 75 artworks at any given time.
The museum boasts of 2,200 works of art including a major permanent collection of New England contemporary art.
It fosters an educational program to kindle enthusiasm of children and adults alike. It hosts exhibition, school visits and other family programs.
